About Us
Who We Are
We are Will and Sam. Two lads from Hartlepool that are keen athletes. We have completed several half marathons, marathons and hyrox events recently.
As we look to better our performances and reach hyrox world championships we began to understand the importance of recovery and how much it helps our performance.
This is something we found widely available while at university in Newcastle, however it’s something we have found that’s lacking in Hartlepool. As a large town where sports are very popular I didn’t understand why this wasn’t available. However we have made the decision to try and bring a first class facility to Hartlepool to provide this.
Why This?
I began researching Alzheimer’s disease after my Nana got diagnosed with it and I was wondering if it was preventable. Luckily, it is as I wouldn’t like any person or family to experience it.
After going down a rabbit hole of (many many hours of) research I found Gary Brecka, Andrew Huberman and Max Lugavere. This lead me to lots of useful information around sleep, exercise, alcohol use, nutrition and the use of saunas and ice baths - along with lots more.
After making several lifestyle changes saunas and ice baths made me feel noticeably better. I managed to use these consistently while at university and this became part of my weekly routine. When I returned to Hartlepool I wanted to keep this as part of my routine. My dad was on board with this as he had played football in Finland for 2 years where this is common practice. Unfortunately, saunas and ice baths aren’t cheap meaning this wasn’t an affordable option for our home.
This lead me to this business idea. If I wanted this surely other people want this in Hartlepool too? I would also like to spread the information I had learnt as I feel like it could positively benefit many peoples lives. I would also like to build a community of people that are interested in these sort of things.

This is the exciting part. We’re currently still in the building process (as you can see on social media) however we are well on our way to building lots of partnerships with businesses round Hartlepool.
